Event metadata

Structured information attached to a detected safety event.

What it means

Event metadata describes what happened in a camera view, including event type, camera, zone, timestamp, confidence, clip reference, and routing status.

Why it matters

Metadata lets the VMS, supervisors, and safety teams search, route, review, and audit events without manually scanning video.

Evaluation questions

Which fields does each event include?

Can metadata route into the VMS or incident system?

Can reviewers search by zone, shift, event type, and outcome?
