Who we are
DHI Technologies, Inc. ("Dhi", "we") is a Delaware corporation at 2410 Shakespeare St, Houston, TX 77030, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Questions and requests go to dev@dhi-tech.com.
This policy covers dhi-tech.com, the forms on it, and business email we send. Video and events that Dhi software processes on a customer's own edge node are governed by that customer's agreement with us; raw footage stays on the customer's site.
When you contact us or request a pilot
The contact and pilot forms collect what you type: your name, work email, company, message, and, where asked, your role, environment, camera count and timeframe. With each submission we also record the page you sent it from, the referring page, your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the country and network operator that our host, Cloudflare, derives from your connection.
We use this to reply to you, to prepare the conversation you asked for, and to block spam and abuse. The submission is stored in our database on Cloudflare and emailed to our team through Resend.
Site analytics
We run our own first-party analytics; there are no third-party analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking scripts on this site. When you browse, we record the page, the referring page, events such as a button click, your language, time zone, screen size, device type and user agent, and the approximate location (country, region, city) and network operator that Cloudflare derives from your connection.
To count visits, your browser keeps a random visitor ID in local storage and a session ID in session storage. The visitor ID is hashed before we store it, and analytics records never contain your IP address, name or email. Clearing your browser storage resets both IDs. We do not currently change what we record when a browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control; the records above contain no direct identifier either way.
If we emailed you first
We send business email to people whose role makes Dhi relevant to them, such as safety, security and operations leaders. For this we hold your name, work email, company and job title. We get these from business contact databases (for example Apollo.io), from your company's public website, or from a business card you gave us at an event.
In the EU, EEA and UK our legal basis is legitimate interest: telling businesses about a product that fits their operations. You can object at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to dev@dhi-tech.com, and we will stop and keep only what we need to not contact you again.
Payments
Checkout and billing run on Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly; we receive what Stripe shares with us, such as your name, email, what you bought and payment status, never your full card number.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and outreach records while we are in a business conversation with you or your company, and delete them when you ask, apart from a suppression record so we do not email you again. We keep analytics records to see trends over time; they hold no direct identifier.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for outreach. Write to dev@dhi-tech.com and we will answer within one month.
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you also have the right to data portability and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site and our email are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
