Keep Genetec as the operator surface

For many sites, the best integration path is to keep operators in Security Center and route AI events into alarms, maps, bookmarks, and review workflows, the same screen they already use for every other alarm source. Ask the vendor to demonstrate an event landing as a named alarm, not a generic notification in a separate app.

Separate event severity

A person-down event, track trespass alert, and low-confidence occupancy signal should not share the same priority. Map event type and confidence into the operator workflow deliberately.

Validate in the control room

A successful integration is not just an event in a log. The right camera should surface, the clip should be reviewable, and the operator should understand what action is expected.
