Phase 1: Site Readiness

Before shipping hardware, verify RTSP stream stability and PoE+ power availability at the targeted edge locations.

1. RTSP Stream Audit

Ensure your VMS (Milestone, Genetec, etc.) can expose high-bitrate RTSP streams for Dhi to ingest locally.

2. Network Segmentation

We recommend isolating the AI compute on a dedicated Safety-VLAN to prevent "broadcast storms" on your primary office network.

Phase 2: Success Criteria

Define exactly what "success" looks like in the first 30 days.

1. False Positive Threshold

Aim for <1% false alarm rate in high-noise environments like active rail-yards.

2. Notification Latency

Verify that alerts reach the dispatcher's desk in under 500ms from the moment of detection.
